September Burn Activity Shows a Late Month Surge
The daily figures show that USTC burn activity was relatively moderate during most of September, with several days recording burns below 20,000 USTC.
Activity increased on several dates, including September 3 with 82,245 USTC, September 9 with 63,783 USTC, September 15 with 61,517 USTC, September 17 with 58,930 USTC, and September 21 with 91,536 USTC.
However, the September 29 burn was significantly larger than every other daily figure in the dataset.
The 477,731 USTC burned on September 29 represents approximately 35.4% of the entire 1,350,084 USTC burned during the first 29 days of September.
That makes the latest daily burn an important contributor to the month’s total.
What the 1.35 Million USTC Burn Means
Burning USTC permanently reduces the amount of USTC in circulation through the burn mechanism involved in each transaction or activity that generated the reported burn.
The September figures show that USTC burn activity continues to occur across the Terra Classic ecosystem, with the monthly total now above 1.35 million USTC.
However, burn figures alone do not determine the market value of USTC. Price movements can also depend on liquidity, trading activity, supply and demand, market conditions, and broader developments across the Terra Classic ecosystem.
The latest numbers therefore provide a clear measure of burn activity rather than a direct indication of future price performance.
USTC Burn Activity Continues Into the Final Days of September
With 1,350,084 USTC already burned between September 1 and September 29, the final days of the month could add further to the September total.
The key development is the sharp increase recorded on September 29, when 477,731 USTC was burned in a single day.
As the month approaches its end, the September burn figures provide another measurable indicator of activity surrounding USTC and the wider Terra Classic ecosystem.
