More than 1.5 million TerraClassicUSD, or USTC, has been burned in August, highlighting continued burn activity across the Terra Classic ecosystem.
According to the latest burn data, a total of 1,538,776 USTC has been burned between August 1 and August 25. The figure places the monthly burn total above the 1.5 million USTC milestone with several days still remaining in August.
USTC Burn Activity Through August 25
USTC burn activity varied significantly throughout the month. Several days recorded burns above 100,000 USTC, while other days saw considerably lower activity.
The largest daily burn occurred on August 14, when 130,306 USTC was burned. August 1 followed with 113,960 USTC, while August 18 recorded 109,343 USTC.
Other notable daily burns included 116,679 USTC on August 5, 108,046 USTC on August 19, and another 108,046 USTC on August 20.
