Terra Classic Burns Over 2.8 Billion LUNC in September as Daily Burns Accelerate
Terra Classic has reached another major milestone in its ongoing token burn activity, with more than 2.8 billion LUNC burned during September so far.
According to the daily burn figures, a total of 2,809,034,467 LUNC has been burned between September 1 and September 22. The monthly figure includes several large daily burns, with the biggest single day recorded on September 14.
The latest figures highlight continued burn activity across the Terra Classic ecosystem as the community and various platforms continue contributing to the reduction of the circulating LUNC supply.

September 14 Records the Largest Daily Burn
September 14 stands out as the strongest burn day in the current September data.
A total of 553,627,767 LUNC was burned on that day, making it the largest daily figure recorded between September 1 and September 22.
The following day also recorded substantial activity, with 361,812,115 LUNC burned on September 15.
The combined total for September 14 and September 15 reached 915,439,882 LUNC.
This means those two days alone represented roughly 32.6% of all LUNC burned during the first 22 days of September.
More Than 2.8 Billion LUNC Burned So Far
With the September total now at 2,809,034,467 LUNC, the Terra Classic burn activity continues to add to the long term reduction of the token supply.
However, daily burn numbers can vary significantly. The September data shows a wide range between lower activity days and major burn events, meaning the monthly total depends heavily on larger individual burns.
The latest figure also means September has already recorded billions of LUNC in burns before the month has ended.
What the LUNC Burn Means for Terra Classic
LUNC burns reduce the token supply by permanently sending LUNC to designated burn addresses.
The burn mechanism is one part of Terra Classic’s broader efforts to reduce its large token supply over time. The impact of burns on the market depends on several factors, including the total amount burned, circulating supply, trading activity, demand and broader market conditions.
Therefore, a higher burn figure does not automatically translate into a specific LUNC price movement.
For the Terra Classic community, however, the September figure provides another measurable update on the ongoing LUNC supply reduction effort.
LUNC Burn Activity Remains in Focus
With 2,809,034,467 LUNC burned from September 1 through September 22, burn activity remains an important metric for the Terra Classic ecosystem.
The daily figures show that major burn events can significantly influence the monthly total, particularly when large burns occur within a short period.
As September continues, the Terra Classic community will be watching whether additional large burns push the monthly total significantly higher before the end of the month.
