Terra Classic Records Major LUNC Burn Activity While Maintaining Network Stability
The Terra Classic (LUNC) ecosystem continues to demonstrate strong on-chain activity, with the latest network statistics highlighting significant token burns, stable transaction performance, and sustained community participation. According to recent data, the total LUNC supply has been reduced to approximately 6.456 trillion tokens, following the burn of nearly 49.8 million LUNC within the last 24 hours.
At the same time, the USTC supply has decreased by more than 21,000 tokens, reflecting the ongoing efforts to reduce circulating supply across the Terra Classic ecosystem. These burn mechanisms remain an important component of the community-driven strategy designed to improve long-term tokenomics and support ecosystem sustainability.
One of the most notable metrics is the amount of LUNC staked, which currently stands at 894 billion tokens, representing approximately 13.85% of the total supply. Although staking experienced a short-term decline over the past 24 hours, the overall staking ratio continues to demonstrate strong community commitment to network security and decentralization.
Network performance remains highly efficient, with an average block time of just 5.89 seconds. Fast block production enables smooth transaction processing and supports a positive user experience for validators, delegators, and developers operating within the ecosystem.
The Terra Classic blockchain also recorded more than 270,000 transactions, highlighting continued user engagement and network utilization. Additionally, the network has accumulated over 53.2 million LUNC and 9,045 USTC in transaction fees, further illustrating the ecosystem’s ongoing activity and utility.
As Terra Classic advances its recovery and development roadmap, metrics such as token burns, staking participation, transaction volume, and fee generation remain critical indicators of ecosystem health. The latest statistics suggest that community-driven initiatives continue to play a significant role in strengthening the network’s long-term foundation and supporting future growth opportunities.
