The Terra Classic community is closing in on a major monthly burn milestone, with 2.46 billion LUNC burned from August 1 through August 27, 2026. With only a few days remaining in August, the community is now within reach of its 3 billion LUNC monthly burn target.
2.46 Billion LUNC Burned in 27 Days
According to the latest burn data, a total of 2,460,245,775 LUNC has been burned during the first 27 days of August.
This means approximately 82.0% of the 3 billion LUNC target has already been reached.
To reach the full 3 billion target, another 539.75 million LUNC would need to be burned before the end of August.
The pace of burning has remained active throughout the month, although daily figures have varied significantly.
The largest single day recorded so far was August 1, when 306,825,857 LUNC was burned. Other major burn days included August 5 with more than 164 million LUNC, August 20 with more than 161 million LUNC, and August 17 with more than 151 million LUNC.

Around 540 Million LUNC Still Needed
With 2.46 billion LUNC already burned, the remaining gap to the 3 billion target stands at approximately 539.75 million LUNC.
Based on the current total, the community would need to burn an average of roughly 135 million LUNC per day over the final four days to reach 3 billion, assuming four days remain in the month.
This would require a stronger daily burn pace than the recent average, but the target remains within reach if several large burn transactions occur before August ends.
August Could Become a Strong Month for LUNC Burns
The August burn figures highlight continued efforts to reduce the circulating supply of LUNC through various burn mechanisms and community driven initiatives.
Burning LUNC permanently removes tokens from the available supply. While the impact of any individual burn depends on its size relative to the overall supply, sustained burns are an important part of the Terra Classic community’s long term supply reduction strategy.
