LUNC Burn Surpasses 1.8 Billion in the First 20 Days of August
Terra Classic recorded more than 1.8 billion LUNC burned during the first 20 days of August, highlighting continued burn activity across the ecosystem.
According to the latest daily burn figures, a total of 1,804,090,147 LUNC was burned between August 1 and August 20, 2026.
The figure represents an average of approximately 90.2 million LUNC burned per day during the 20 day period.
More Than 300 Million LUNC Burned on August 1
The strongest burn day during the period was August 1, when 306,825,857 LUNC was burned.
Other notable daily burns included:
- August 5 recorded 164,018,022 LUNC burned.
- August 17 recorded 151,543,779 LUNC burned.
- August 20 recorded 161,060,583 LUNC burned.
- August 6 recorded 129,114,725 LUNC burned.
These days accounted for a significant portion of the total burn recorded during the first 20 days of the month.
Daily LUNC Burn Breakdown
The daily figures show that burn activity remained consistent throughout the period, although the amount varied significantly from one day to another.

Burn Activity Remains an Important Part of LUNC Supply Reduction
LUNC burns are designed to permanently reduce the circulating supply of Terra Classic. While 1.8 billion LUNC represents only a small portion of the overall supply, continued burn activity can contribute to long term supply reduction when sustained over time.
The August figures also show that burn activity does not occur at a fixed daily rate. Some days recorded more than 150 million LUNC burned, while other days recorded less than 30 million.
This variation makes the monthly total more important than individual daily figures when evaluating overall burn activity.
More Than 1.8 Billion LUNC Burned So Far in August
With 1,804,090,147 LUNC burned in just 20 days, the Terra Classic ecosystem continues to record significant token burn activity in August.
The next key milestone will be whether the burn rate remains strong during the rest of the month and how much additional LUNC can be burned before August ends.
For the Terra Classic community, sustained burn activity remains an important part of efforts to reduce the large LUNC supply over the long term.
