Repeging USTC would work but, according to the situation right now. It will cost much funds and even time. I hope it will be okay with replacing with another one even if it will disturb the USTC holders. It will cost little funds and for them, they will have to put in more time to get what they want but when the ecosystem is running smoothly.
So let the developers build new things without old problems.
