Terra Classic has recorded more than 1.87 billion LUNC burned during the first 14 days of September, marking another significant period of supply reduction for the LUNC community.
According to the daily burn figures, a total of 1,872,682,069 LUNC was burned between September 1 and September 14. The period included several notable spikes, with September 14 recording the largest daily burn at more than 553.6 million LUNC.
More Than 1.87 Billion LUNC Burned in 14 Days
The September burn activity has remained active throughout the first two weeks of the month. While daily figures varied considerably, several days recorded burns above 100 million LUNC.
September 1 started the month with 407,336,312 LUNC burned. After several days of lower activity, the burn rate increased again on September 9, when 188,700,696 LUNC was burned.
The biggest increase came on September 14, with 553,627,767 LUNC burned in a single day. This was the highest daily figure recorded during the 14 day period.

September 14 Becomes the Largest Burn Day
September 14 stands out in the data, accounting for more than 553 million LUNC burned in one day. This was significantly higher than the daily figures recorded during most of the first two weeks.
September 1 was the second largest burn day during the period, with more than 407 million LUNC burned. September 9 followed with 188.7 million LUNC.
The three largest daily burns during the period were:
- September 14: 553,627,767 LUNC
- September 1: 407,336,312 LUNC
- September 9: 188,700,696 LUNC
Together, these three days accounted for more than 1.14 billion LUNC of the total 1.87 billion LUNC burned during the period.
What the Burn Activity Means for LUNC
LUNC burns are part of the Terra Classic community’s ongoing effort to reduce the token’s circulating supply. Each burn permanently takes LUNC out of circulation, contributing to a lower overall supply over time.
However, daily burn figures can change significantly depending on network activity, transactions, trading volume, community initiatives and other sources of burns. A high burn figure during one day does not necessarily mean the same level will continue throughout the month.
The first 14 days of September nevertheless show that the LUNC burn mechanism remains active, with nearly 1.9 billion LUNC burned during the period.
LUNC Burn Activity Continues
With 1,872,682,069 LUNC burned in the first 14 days of September, the Terra Classic community has recorded another notable milestone in its ongoing supply reduction efforts.
The remainder of September will determine whether the current pace can continue and how much additional LUNC will be burned before the month ends. For the LUNC community, continued burn activity remains an important metric to monitor alongside network usage, trading activity and broader ecosystem development.
